Davey Brown is a professional artist and author from Newcastle whose work is recognised internationally. With clients around the world and a series of exhibitions in Ibiza, Davey is an artist on the rise. Plans are taking shape to tour America with exhibitions lined up in New York, Chicago and Miami.
Closer to home, Davey is doing a three – legged event in Newcastle, London and Ibiza. The event is a combined book launch and art exhibition. Davey’s new book, ‘Time To Shine’, is being launched at this event. It’s about Davey’s journey as an artist, how he initially gave up art because of his art teacher telling him he would never make anything of himself in the art world, only to defy her negativity by touring the UK and Ibiza with his exhibitions and generating a very cool and impressive client list that most artists would envy. The book includes interviews with Judge Jules, Gordon Mac, Cafe Mambo owner Javier Anadon, Amanda O’Riordan and Jim ‘Shaft’ Ryan.
