Davey was commissioned by Cafe Mambo owner Javier Anadon to create a bespoke exhibition to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the venue. The exhibition was called ‘The Legends Of Cafe Mambo’. Jo Mills and Paul Riseley (DJ House Foundation) DJed at this show.
In February, 2024, Davey launched a brand new exhibition at Q nightclub in Shoreditch, London. It was called ‘The Queens Of House And Soul’, a collection of portraits of some of the greatest female stars of these two music genres. Aretha Franklin, Barbara Tucker, Alison Limerick and Randy Crawford were among the forty subjects captured on canvas. Judge Jules, KISS FM founder and owner of Mi – Soul Radio Gordon Mac and Craig Williams DJed at this event and there were live singing performances from Angie Brown and rising star, Phoebe O’Riordan.
Davey is launching the follow – up event, ‘The Kings Of House And Soul’ on September 18th at Las Mimosas in Ibiza, another official collaboration with Cafe Mambo. Ibiza legend DJ Pippi is playing alongside Ibiza resident DJ Paul Riseley and Newcastle’s DJ Benny Young. As well as the art exhibition, Davey is also launching his new book, ‘Time To Shine’ at the same event. After Ibiza, it is going to a venue called Under in Notting Hill, London (DJs TBC) on September 25th, then he is bringing it home to Newcastle. It’s being held at Pilgrim on October 17th. Judge Jules is DJing with DJ Benny Young playing too.

On 26th May 2019, Barca Art Bar in Tynemouth hosted an event featuring DJs Glen Horsborough (Defected Croatia), Natasha Kitty Katt (Glitterbox), Tony Hutchinson, and Andrew Baxter.
On 27th June 2019, 26 Leake Street in Waterloo, London, hosted an event with DJs Lisa Loud and Chelsea Singh.
On 26th July 2019, Wall2Wall in Kidderminster hosted an event featuring DJs Jim ‘Shaft’ Ryan (Miss Moneypenny’s), DJ Westfella, and Dave Johnson.
On 5th September 2019, Las Mimosas in San Antonio Bay, Ibiza, hosted an event featuring legendary DJ Alfredo and James Reid, a resident DJ at Café Mambo.
The Ibiza exhibition was filmed by the BBC and broadcast on their national news.
From 21st September to 5th October 2019, HMV Newcastle hosted a special event featuring DJs CJ MacKintosh, Mark Hutchinson (Frate), and Tony Hutchinson (Hardwick Live).
On 30th December 2019, Sub Club in Glasgow hosted an event featuring DJ Rebecca Vasmant.
After Covid, Davey produced a virtual exhibition which included guest appearances from Judge Jules, Barbara Tucker, Marshall Jefferson, Jim ‘Shaft’ Ryan, Javier Anadon, Alfredo and Jo Mills.
On 18th November 2021, The Shack in Manchester featured DJs Jon DaSilva, Chris Donnelly, and Leon Donnelly.
On 14th October 2021, Colonel Porters in Newcastle hosted DJ Mark Armstrong from Shindig.
